Don’t Buy … DIY (Part 2)

So, on to experiment number 2: Pesto. I love pesto. It’s filled with garlic and it’s a lovely shade of green. And making pesto is a snap. All you need is fresh basil, olive oil, minced garlic, grated parmesean cheese and pine nuts (a word to the wise, however, pine nuts are EXPENSIVE, so I just leave them out, but that’s your call). Why Spend Money When You Can DIY

I have learned something through my adventures, something very important. Groceries stores love to make the things I enjoy very, very expensive. Example #1: hummus. I LOVE hummus, it’s healthy and delicious. But, try and get in a grocery store, you’re looking to pay $4 for a small tub.
